About Me
Hello there -
I’m Jamie
I thought I'd share a bit about myself, not as some distant professional, but just as one person to another. After all, we've all got our stories, and perhaps mine might resonate with you.
My Journey So Far
I started out much like many others—trying to do everything "right." I followed the rules laid out at home, in school, and by society. Worked diligently, kept my head down, and aimed for that picture of success everyone seemed to agree upon.
And for a time, it worked. I built a tech company from scratch, going from doubting myself to leading a successful business. On paper, everything looked brilliant. But beneath the surface, something wasn't quite right.
As the business grew, so did the pressure. Long hours became the norm. I began missing out on time with family and friends. When my mum fell ill, I convinced myself I could juggle it all. But when she passed away, it hit me hard. All those achievements suddenly felt... empty.
I realised I'd been chasing someone else's idea of success, not my own. I was so busy proving myself, that I lost sight of who I was and what truly mattered to me.
Making a Change
So, I did something that surprised quite a few people—I sold my business. Some thought I was making a huge mistake. But for me, it was about returning to what felt genuine and important.
I took time to reflect and reconnect with myself. I learned that success isn't just about titles or bank balances; it's about living in a way that feels true to who you are. It's about the relationships we nurture, the passions we pursue, and the peace we find within ourselves.
Why I’m Here Now
Having been through all that, I felt compelled to help others who might be on a similar path. Maybe you're feeling stuck, burnt out, or just not as fulfilled as you thought you'd be. I understand—I've been there.
That's why I started coaching, not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you as you figure out what's next. To offer support, share some hard-earned insights, and perhaps help you avoid some of the pitfalls I stumbled into.
Life's too short to live on someone else's terms. You deserve to create a life that feels authentic and satisfying to you.
Let’s Have a Chat
If any of this resonates with you, I’d love to have a conversation. No pressure, no hard sale, just a chat between two people trying to make the best of this thing called life.
Feel free to get in touch anytime. I'm here, and always happy to listen.
Best regards,
Jamie
